Introduction

Welcome to the second of my blogs. In this blog i will be posting scripts i have written in order to entertain and make an interesting read for you my audience.

First i will give you a little back ground on me. FYI if you want to find out more about who i am at a more personal sense, i will be posting a 3rd blog, this will be me purely posting my never ending thought pattern. But back to this blog as I'm rambling.

Im Alex James Gilbert. I am a 19 year old film student. I currently have qualifications of a Btec first diploma and a National Diploma under my belt, achieving Distinctions in both diplomas (not bragging ha). I have studied for 3 years on these courses. Within this time i have attended many forms of work experience, from filming the annual Lichfield festival live, to helping in the editing of the stop motion frosty Jacks adverts promoting ITV 2 Celebrity Juice. My main career path is to become an Editor, but i have a great respect for writing scripts.

I do believe on a critical sense, be it my own opinion, that the best stories always derive from a personal level, be it some experience or attachment.
Steven Spielberg has a running theme throughout all of his films of the abandonment of a father. This is due to his father leaving at a young age. The quest is then to find or regain that fatherly connection. E.T. becomes a father figure to Elliot. Ray is the absent father in war of the worlds, but regains his sons trust.

This is why you will find in most of my scripts that they at some point will have had a personal input by myself to help drive the story or to really define a character.

The way this blog is structured, is that you will find tabs at top of this post leading to different pages. Each page will contain a different script. There will be a comment box at the bottom of the page so you can leave your thoughts after reading.

Please keep in mind that i do not condone or tolerate plagiarism, so do not pass anything on here off as your own. Each script is contains copyright to my company RLBproductions©.

Thank you

and

Enjoy
